Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive to Hanoi
Touch down at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, where our friendly guide and driver will greet you with a warm “Xin chào!”
Journey into the heart of Vietnam’s capital: a city of mirror-like lakes, tree-lined boulevards, and leafy parks.
After checking into your hotel, feel free to wander around or rest up to recharge - tomorrow is all about exploring!
Day 2
Explore Hanoi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Rise and shine in the city of lakes! Start your adventure with a visit to the famous One Pillar Pagoda, then swing by the Temple of Literature, the nation’s first university.
After lunch at a local restaurant, delve into some serious history at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, say “wow” at the grand Opera House, and sneak a peek at the gorgeous St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Wind down with a trip to Bao Tang Lich, a museum bursting with artifacts from Vietnam’s storied past.
Feeling artsy? Your evening treat is a Water Puppet Show - watch puppets dance on water, accompanied by live traditional music. Top it all off with a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter’s buzzing streets.
Day 3
Road trip to Halong Bay
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Bid farewell to the city lights as we drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where 3,000 limestone peaks jut dramatically out of crystal waters.
Hop aboard a traditional junk boat, your cozy home for the night! Feast on fresh seafood, soak up the magical seascape, and explore hidden caves.
If you’re feeling adventurous, jump into the water for a swim, or chill on the sundeck with a refreshing drink in hand.
Day 4
Flight to Hue
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Wake up to the gentle sound of waves, and maybe even catch the sunrise painting the karsts in soft pinks and oranges.
After breakfast, take a peek into Sung Sot Cave and have brunch on a boat.
Then it’s back to dry land, off to the airport, and up, up, and away we go to Hue, the city of emperors and dragons. Check into your hotel in Hue and settle down for the night.
Day 5
Explore Hue
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Channel your inner royal: Hue was Vietnam’s seat of power from 1802 to 1945 under the Nguyen Dynasty.
Start your day at the massive Imperial City within the Citadel, modeled after Beijing’s Forbidden City. Stroll through the Thai Hoa Palace, admire the carvings in the Halls of the Mandarins, and see the Nine Dynastic Urns, each symbolizing a Nguyen emperor.
Keep an eye out for the spot where the Forbidden Purple City once stood - yes, it’s as mysterious as it sounds.
Day 6
Explore Hue
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
This morning, hop on a dragon boat along the romantically named Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, a historic hotbed for 1960s anti-government protests.
Next stop: the impressive Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, renowned for its harmonious architecture and intricate decorations.
After lunch, marvel at Tu Duc Tomb, built as a peaceful retreat for an emperor who loved reading and theater.
Lastly, check out Khai Dinh, the final monument of the Nguyen Dynasty—prepare for a grand staircase flanked by dragons and stunning ceiling murals.
Day 7
Road trip to Danang and Hoi An
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Pack your camera, folks: today’s drive over the spectacular Hai Van Pass offers sweeping ocean views that’ll make your Instagram feed glow with envy.
Roll into Danang and pop by the Cham Museum to witness an extraordinary collection of open-air sandstone sculptures.
Swing by Cua Dai Beach - featured in an old American TV series - and glimpse the Marble Mountains, five mystical hills dotted with Buddhist sanctuaries.
Finally, arrive in the enchanting town of Hoi An, and check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Day 8
Explore Hoi An
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Once a major trading port known as Faifo, Hoi An still brims with Old World charm. Stroll past ancient houses, vibrant temples, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. Peek into the Sa Huynh Museum for archaeological insights into Hoi An’s deep past.
By late afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Thu Bon River. We’ll stop by Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island, famous for its master woodworkers and shipbuilders - craftsmanship at its finest.
Head back to your hotel by “China Beach” and soak up the evening vibes under glowing lanterns.
Day 9
Half-day tour to My Son
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Ready for a mini adventure? Journey 50 km to My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage Site tucked away in a lush valley.
This mystical cluster of red brick towers and sanctuaries once formed the spiritual heart of the Champa Kingdom (7th–13th centuries). Archaeology buffs will be in heaven - think of Angkor in Cambodia or Bagan in Myanmar, but with its own Vietnamese flavor.
After lunch back in Hoi An, spend the afternoon scouting out souvenirs, sipping iced coffee, or just wandering Hoi An’s dreamy streets.
Day 10
Flight to Nha Trang
Meal: Breakfast
Beach vibes incoming! Catch a short flight from Danang Airport to Nha Trang, known for powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Check into your seaside hotel, then relish some free time to soak up the sun or stroll along the bay.
Day 11
Explore islands around Nha Trang
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Ahoy, island explorers! Sail from Cau Da Port to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. You’ll spot colorful marine creatures that look straight out of a Pixar movie!
Next, snorkel at Mun Island, renowned for its lively coral reefs and tropical fish.
After working up an appetite, savor a fresh lunch on Con Se Tre Island, then unwind on the sandy shore before heading back to your hotel in Nha Trang.
Days 12-13
Enjoy Nha Trang
Meal: Breakfast
You deserved a little break in paradise! Feel free to explore what Nha Trang has to offer (a lot!) your way.
Chill on a beach, tan by the pool, rent a bike and go for a ride - you've got two full days to recharge and prepare for what's next.
Day 14
Fly to Saigon
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Time to swap beach waves for city buzz. Fly into Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam’s largest metropolis.
Get swept up in the whirlwind of motorbikes and bright lights. Explore the historic Notre Dame Cathedral, the grand Central Post Office, and the bustling Chinese neighborhood of Cholon (Big Market).
Visit the War Remnants Museum - a sobering look at the nation’s turbulent past. After a day of sightseeing, retreat to your hotel and maybe try some Saigon street food (hello, banh mi!).
Day 15
Mekong Delta day trip
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Journey to My Tho in the lush Mekong Delta, where life moves at a gentler pace.
Cruise the legendary Mekong River, weaving between floating markets and local workshops producing coconut candy and other sweet treats. Stop by one of the oldest pagodas in the delta, Vinh Trang, to admire its ornate architecture.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City, where the evening is all yours.
Day 16
Farewell
