Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Saigon – Mekong Homestay

Cycling: 30-40 km
Kayaking: ~1 hour

Your adventure kicks off bright and early at 8:00 A.M., when you’ll wave goodbye to the urban buzz of Saigon and head south.

About an hour and a half later, you’ll find yourself in the Mekong Delta, where the landscape turns into a patchwork of dragon fruit orchards and vibrant green rice fields. Hop on your bike and let the gentle breeze guide you through these idyllic panoramas, then refuel at a local restaurant with fresh Mekong flavors for lunch.

In the afternoon, trade pedals for paddles as you spend around two hours kayaking through canals and around little islands, getting a firsthand look at everyday river life.

By evening, settle into a local homestay for a cozy night, complete with the lullaby of the water flowing nearby.

Day 2

Vinh Long – Tra Vinh

Cycling: 50-60 km
Kayaking: ~1 hour

An early start is on the menu today—set your alarm for dawn, because you’ll be paddling on the Mekong River just in time to witness a glorious sunrise.

Right after, the local morning market unfolds around you, offering an eye-popping array of colorful produce and floating commerce. Later in the morning, switch gears to cycling mode and traverse four islands, each bustling with friendly villagers and their daily routines.

Lunch awaits in Cholach township, where you’ll also learn the art of bonsai-tree nurturing—yes, they really do sculpt those miniature forests!

After that, a longer biking stretch along the Co Chien River leads you to Tra Vinh, where you’ll arrive in the late afternoon and rest up for tomorrow.

Day 3

Tra Vinh – Soc Trang – Bac Lieu

Cycling: 70 km

Today’s ride is all about the scenic charm of dirt tracks and narrow concrete paths.

You’ll roll through farmlands, Khmer temples, and village schools, getting friendly waves from curious kids and maybe a few excited dogs.

Tra Vinh and Soc Trang boast mesmerizing green landscapes that make you feel like you’ve pedaled into a postcard. By day’s end, you’ll roll into Bac Lieu Town and settle in for the night.

Day 4

Bac Lieu – Rach Gia

Cycling: 80 km

Cue the highlight reel: this morning you’ll cycle into a labyrinth of natural creeks, remote villages, and even small floating markets.

Rice paddies stretch out like a green ocean, and you’ll cross rivers on local ferries, where bikes and people share space in the easiest-going traffic jam you’ve ever seen.

After covering around 80 km of Mekong magic, you’ll hop in the van or bus for a short transfer to Rach Gia, a coastal gateway on the Gulf of Thailand.

Day 5

Speed Boat to Phu Quoc Island

Wrap up your mainland exploits by heading to the pier in Rach Gia, where a speed boat will whisk you off to Phu Quoc Island.

Cue visions of pristine beaches, tropical cocktails, and sunshine for days.

Once you dock, our services officially conclude - what happens next is entirely up to you. Whether you chill out on the sand or dive headfirst into aquatic adventures, Phu Quoc is your oyster!
